INTER-PROFESSIONAL PRIMARY HEALTHCARE
Physicians – treat acute and chronic illnesses, diagnose and provide preventive care and health education for males and females and from newborn to older adults.
Nurse Practitioners – Nurse Practitioner are Independent and Qualified healthcare providers and provide a full range of health services including diagnosis, treatment, consultation, specialist referrals, conducting physical check-ups, administering and analyzing tests etc… Nurse Practitioners play an important role in helping the community maintain a healthy and active lifestyle and to understand and/or treat illnesses.
Registered Nurse – The Registered Nurse is the first point of contact for all TAIBU clients. The Registered Nurse also does well baby and child checkups, blood work, preventative screening, including gynecological exam, discussion about mammography and fecal occult blood test. He/She works along with the Physicians and Nurse Practitioners in our Hypertension Management Program and Sickle Cell initiative.
